I need to vent...

Don't get me wrong...I like my job and the people I work with, but the management is really frustrating me. Jared got a job so I needed to change my availability so that I can take the kids to daycare & pick them up. And of course the daycare is only open from 6:30am to 6:30pm and my work is retail so they are open from 5am to 9pm. I put down I could not open or close due to the fact that Jared can't drive. Well, I was told that they can't just offer me mids. My manager told me that he would sign it if I could close and pick the kids up during my lunch which is pretty much impossible to do in an hour. Jared's job started already and I am totally stressing myself out because of the 2 weeks of schedules that were out already that aren't compatible with my availability. It just seems like more trouble than it's worth. I wish I could find a job that would be a day job. At this time I just feel that I need to be working. Maybe I should just go back to school & say the heck with retail! Thanks for letting me vent even if I didn't make a bit of sense. I hope everyone is doing well.

  2. oh, man what a mess. hey i noticed in the paper that the quilt shop in pinetop is hiring. i am pretty sure it is just a day job, but maybe you might want to look into that. also, national bank has a floater job available. it's not in the paper, i just happen to know about it, but if you go in to the pinetop location, (by your old apartments) or the showlow location, they would probably tell you more about it. I believe it is for a teller. lots of luck to you. amy

  3. Ugh! That is such a bummer! Any chance anyone in your ward could help you out somehow? Explore some options. It will all work out in the end! (It probably doesn't seem like it now, but I promise...things always end up working out)! You may be able to find an even better job with more pay and better hours. You never know! Good luck with everything and keep us posted! We'll pray for you! Love, Danya
